Adidas Original continues to bring some of the world's most iconic fictional characters to footwear form. Recently, Patrick Star from SpongeBob SquarePants emerged as a Superstar

A playful nod to the marine invertebrate's name and shape, the collaboration reimagines the iconic "shell-toe" in tones inspired by the title character's best friend. An off white tone takes on the rubber toe and midsole, while the bulk of the upper indulges in a soft pink suede ("Wonder Clay"). Profile 3-Stripes break up the rosy finish with a "Core Black" hue before an image of Mr. Star appears on the top-of-the-tongue. The footbed includes Superstar text done in the same style as SpongeBob SquarePants' title graphic; the outsole opts for a semi-translucent blue that reveals scenes from above Bikini Bottom.
