New Balance Numeric 933 Reynolds

Skateboarding icon Andrew Reynolds has officially launched his first signature shoe. Under the New Balance Numeric line, the 40-year-old skater’s first signature model lands on the 933. The reimagined skate shoe is inspired by the heritage 990 series from the Boston-based show company. Applying technical updates for skaters, this silhouette blends the MADE in USA 993 with a tailor skate-focused design that features ABZORB cushioning, NDurance rubber outsoles and a padded tongue for comfort. The straight midsole, off-tone hues on the underfoot as well as the layered curvilinear paneling gives the skate shoe silhouette a nod to the 99x series design language. Hidden under the insole are the early prototype codes, including “8055,” a nod to Reynolds’ nickname, The Boss.

Arriving in four colorways, “Wheat,” “Black/Olive,” “Grey Day” and “Olive,” the pairs pay tribute to Reynolds’ legacy in the skate world and New Balance’s performance. The sneakers arrive online later this month.
